When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

trespeace: "I discovered my love for creating music at a young age. I come from a musical family. A wide variety of music was played all the time around the house.. My dad is a drummer and taught me the drums at 5 years old. And I took up piano lessons at 10. I studied both instruments into adulthood. I started producing at 16 years old but got serious about my craft at 18. After I graduated college I realized I can make a career out of it."

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

trespeace: "My father for sure. He introduced me to so many different genres and eras of music. From Funk and Soul with Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers to Jazz with Syro Gyra and Kenny G, and Rock with Chicago and Dave Matthews. Also the generation I'm apart of shaped me as well with Hip-Hop, R&B and the merging of different genres as of late. Together this is where my sense of musical style is derived from."

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

trespeace: "At the moment no. In my opinion I have the potential to be the best at what I do, and plan to be. I believe everyone has the ability to be the best at what they do. So I am taking persistent, continuous action towards that achievement and when I am the best, my work will say it... I will not have to."

What are your plans for the near future?

trespeace: "I plan on doing a lot more collaborations in the near future. I know working with people only increases skill and exposure. And no one can succeed alone. I also plan on having some nice placements in the near future, I've been getting my music out to very talented and credible artist lately so we'll see what they come up with. I've recently worked with Bawal Clan in the Philippines, a well known hip hop collective in Manila, MTStreets a talented artist in Hollywood, CA, and Steady Common, a groovy alternative band based in Atlanta, Georgia."

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, any shout outs?

trespeace: "Shout out to our Creator first and foremost. I definitely will like to thank my wife, Gina. My mother, father, sister, and brother for being the best support system anyone can ask for. This is only possible through their love and encouragement."
